Bio ...

Claudia Lobão was born and raised in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, a place where art and beauty often hid in the overlooked. Her father, an artist, taught her early on that what others called “junk” could be transformed into something meaningful. That lesson shaped everything.

Drawn to fashion from a young age, Claudia began her creative path working with top designers in her hometown, including the groundbreaking Grupo Mineiro de Moda in the 1980s — a movement that helped place Belo Horizonte on the fashion map. Her journey later took her to New York City, where she spent a decade absorbing inspiration from every corner of the city’s energy.

It was there she met Paulo — a brilliant, thoughtful man who loved music, conversation, and cooking unforgettable meals. Together, they built a beautiful life, biking through Central Park, sharing coffee, wine, and the joy of raising their daughter, Valentina.

After September 11th, Claudia made a bold shift. She left her job at a Brazilian bank to pursue her true passion — jewelry design. The first pieces she made were worn by coworkers, friends, and family. And when the spark caught fire, Paulo became more than a partner in life; he became her business partner. He took on the business side with quiet brilliance while Claudia dove deep into design and production — learning, teaching herself, adapting, and growing every step of the way.

In 2003, the family moved to San Antonio, Texas. Claudia’s work quickly gained recognition, eventually catching the eye of actress Eva Longoria, who introduced her to Desperate Housewives stylist Cate Adair. Claudia’s jewelry soon appeared on the iconic Gabrielle Solis, launching her designs into the spotlight.

Though Paulo has since passed, his presence remains in every corner of the brand they built together. And even now, through moments of uncertainty, Claudia continues to run the business with resilience and grace — honoring their shared vision while forging her own future.

Today, most of her pieces are handmade in Brazil and Texas, blending unique metals, crystals, and artisanal techniques. Every design tells a story — of love, legacy, and the courage to keep going.
